
Aleefia Somji is a research analyst at CDDEP. She received a Master’s degree in the Control of Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. Prior to CDDEP she conducted data analyses on alcohol use and HIV sexual risk behaviors. She is most interested in HIV and reproductive health research, especially in bridging the gap between science and policy. Outside the office you can find her on the squash court, watching a play, or raising public awareness about HIV through unconventional means.
