
Arnaud Le Menach is a French veterinary epidemiologist. After his graduation as a DVM from the National Veterinary School of Maisons-Alfort (Paris) in 2002, he undertook a Master in Biomathematics and a PhD in Public Health at INSERM (Institut National de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale, Paris) focusing on the spatial spread of foot-and-mouth disease, avian influenza and malaria. After 2005 he worked as an Animal Health Officer specialised in the epidemiology of infectious diseases in Africa and Middle East at FAO (Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations) in Rome, Italy.
